Virtual Exhibition Film, Inspiration From Dreams & Visions, Art Competition 2022

My painting Outer Time was shortlisted in the College of Psychic Studies Art Competition Inspiration From Dreams & Visions in 2022. The Exhibition Film will be released in January 2023. 

The initial vision for this painting took place on November 24, 2021. In my mind's eye, I saw water flowing from above (in abundance), enveloping my client, Emily, and forming the shape of an hourglass where the narrow part was around the area of her neck. The water had a feminine quality; it felt nurturing and balanced her energy field. She was held in this beautiful watery healing energy like a protective container. 

A few months later, on June 5, 2022, I felt a strong inner nudge to translate this healing energy as an image onto canvas. I received the (psychic) insight to place a geometric twelve-fold rosette in the neck of the hourglass that regulates the passing of the gold nectar. I was feeling sensations in my throat and craving a swim in the ocean, which I ended up doing the following month. I finished the painting on August 10, 2022, a 9-month journey from vision to completion and a creative process of translating healing energy (that I saw in my mind’s eye) as an image onto a canvas to share. 

Outer Time represents a broader field of awareness, a space where every possibility already exists. As time flows, our mythos changes. We are invited to observe how we express our soul essence and choose our authentic expression - our innermost joy.
